Click here to see photographs from the March 20th event.
Interested in attending local classes to learn the Love and Logic philosophy? Contact Kim Sanow at 507-530-3833.
Their presentations were packed with skills needed to stop the arguments and back-talk, guide children to solve their problems, and discipline with empathy and logical conclusions. Attendees left with specific strategies for challenging issues such as disrespectful attitudes, sibling fighting, class disruptions, handling the helpless hand raiser, chores, arguments, backtalk and whining.
Following are two questions that were brought to our attention after the event, along with the responses from Kindred Hearts.
-
What about ADHD kids? Is this what you'd use, or a modified program? Yes, this can be used with ADHD kids. It works well! As with everything in ADHD, it is just harder and needs to be used more consistently.
- Do you have some more hints/tips for teenagers? Or put antoher way, does Love & Logic work on teenagers? Love and Logic works well for teens and even college age kids.
