GET WILD ABOUT READING

Attention Preschoolers! Come listen to stories, participate in activities and enjoy an animal cracker snack.

Wild about Reading events are open to all ages, however books and activities are directed to pre-school children.

Families, daycares, grandparents, anyone with children, are all invited to attend! Child care providers who attend with the children in their care will be given a few children's books to take home for use in their daycare.

Listen to KMHL 1400 AM or KKCK 99.7 FM for weather related cancellations.

Wild About Reading events were held at several parks throughout our service area during the summer of 2012.  Each event featured music, puppets, reading of Imagination Library books by volunteers, activities and animal cracker snacks.   THANKS to all who attended, as well as all the volunteers who helped make these events such a success.

WILD ABOUT READING literacy building events were held in sixteen area parks during Summer 2009.  The events featured music, reading of Imagination Library books by volunteers, activities and animal crackers.
