United Way of Southwest Minnesota has elected new officers and directors for the organization for the 2010-11 fiscal year. Joining the board as new directors are: Kari Harding, Canby, Southwest Insurance Services; Josh Bonnstetter, Slayton, Wells Fargo Bank; Shelby Foss, Marshall, US Bank; Angela Lance, Marshall, The Schwan Food Company; and Jeremy Trulock, Garvin, MinnWest Insurance and Investment Center of Tracy.
Officers are President, Karen Madden, US Bank; Vice-President, Kay Ponstein, Minnesota Cabinets; and Treasurer, Jim Kontz, Prudential Financial.
Returning directors are: Sandi Arndt, Prinicipal at Canby Elementary School; Jeanne Bednarek, Bank of the West, Ivanhoe Branch; Kelly Deutz; Jeremy Gossen, Bremer Bank; Cary Grover, The Schwan Food Company; Dan Herrmann, Runnings Fleet and Farm; Tom Landmark, US Bank; Keith Miller, Grill Works, Inc; Lisa Rademacher, SW/WC Service Cooperative; Kristel Schamber, Midwest Vision; Melinda Schmidt, North Star Mutual Insurance Company; Pat Surprenant, The Schwan Food Company; Donna Swenson, Action Manufacturing; Jennifer Thomas; Janel Wartner, Subway; and Beth Weatherby, SMSU.
United Way of Southwest Minnesota is an independent, local organization working to create lasting changes in people's lives and the communities in Lincoln, Lyon, Murray, Yellow Medicine and western Redwood Counties of Minnesota.
