The United Way of Southwest Minnesota (UWSWMN) Board of Directors recently approved Small Grants in Round II totaling $13,500. The Small Grant program is an outreach of the Community Impact funding process. The available amount of grant dollars each year is subject to change. One-time grants, up to $5,000, are awarded to organizations aligned with UWSWMN’s priority areas.
Department of Public Tranformation was the recipient of a Small Grant totaling $4,000. This one-time grant will help provide high-quality, accessible, creative fitness programs at the YES! house, which aligns to UWSWMN’s health priority area.
The other grant recipients in Round II are Minneota Pool Pals, Prairie Home Hospice and Tracy Area High School.
