Leadership
Board members are volunteers from across the service area who meet bi-monthly to further United Way of Southwest Minnesota's strategic work and mission. They participate actively in task forces and committees that help carry out the organization's work, and they are responsible for ensuring that the resources entrusted to the organization are invested wisely in programs that help achieve its mission.
Up to 24 board members can serve three-year terms. Each board member is eligible to serve two consecutive terms as a director. The board elects a chair, vice chair, and treasurer to serve a two-year term. The CEO serves as the organization's secretary but is not a board-voting member.
UWSWMN is grateful to our outstanding board members for their time and dedication to helping our organization improve lives and strengthen communities in southwest Minnesota.
