
Meg Louwagie has been the CEO of the United Way of Southwest Minnesota since May 2022. With a deep commitment to community service, Meg has been instrumental in driving initiatives that improve the lives of residents in the service area. Under her leadership, the organization continues to focus on expanding its reach and impact in four key areas: Youth Opportunity, Healthy Community, Financial Security, and Community Resilience.
In addition to her role as CEO, Meg was elected to the Board of Directors for the United Ways of Minnesota in January 2024. This position allows her to contribute to statewide efforts, collaborating with 34 United Ways across Minnesota to address pressing community needs and promote collective well-being
Meg's journey with the United Way began long before her current role. She was a dedicated volunteer and a member of the Power of the Purse Committee, where she demonstrated her passion for community engagement and philanthropy. Her extensive experience and unwavering dedication have made her a respected leader in the nonprofit sector.
Meg resides in Marshall, MN, with her husband, Brad. They have three sons, two daughters-in-law, and five granddaughters, all bringing immense joy to their lives.
