Fun in the Sun Kits Available for Young Children

United Way of Southwest Minnesota is excited to announce something new for local families this summer—Fun in the Sun kits!  The goal of this kit is to provide a starting point for some family activities that are fun, educational and engaging throughout the summer.  These kits are a gift from United Way of Southwest Minnesota to families in our service area that have young children. 

Each kit includes: Chicken on Vacation book, sidewalk chalk, sand castle frame craft kits, foldable flying discs, scavenger hunt cards, dry erase pen, small kick ball and farm animal activity cards.  Kits are targeted to pre-school through Kindergarten aged children.

Kits are available for pick-up on a first come first serve basis at most public libraries throughout our service area beginning on June 28.  For a complete list of locations to pick-up your kit, visit our website at UnitedWaySWMN.org.
