Runnings Invests in United Way of Southwest Minnesota
Our local Runnings team recently conducted their annual workplace campaign to raise funds for the United Way of Southwest Minnesota (UWSWMN) to support their local initiatives. Employees could make a one-time donation or payroll deduction. Employees contributed $10,278.08, and Runnings made an additional investment of $900 for a total campaign of $11,178.08.
Runnings opened its first store in Marshall in 1947. Owned by the Dennis and Adele Reed Family, today the company has grown to 86 locations, employing 3,500 associates across 12 states. Runnings carries an extensive selection of pet supplies, sporting goods including hunting and fishing equipment, clothing and footwear, lawn and garden supplies, housewares, tools, farm supplies, toys, and outdoor equipment.
