Our local Schwan’s Company subsidiary employees recently held their annual workplace campaign to benefit United Way of Southwest Minnesota (UWSWMN). Employees had the opportunity to make payroll pledges and join in on some fun special events like a pizza lunch, wine pull and non-perishable food parade.
Employees contributed $38,054 through payroll pledges/donations and special events. The Schwan’s Corporate Giving Foundation made an additional investment of $37,724 for a total campaign of $75,778.
Schwan’s Corporate Giving Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) charitable organization focused on efforts to end hunger, promote youth education and leadership development, and provide essential services that advance the health of the communities where Schwan’s Company employees live and work. The foundation is headquartered in Marshall, Minnesota.
