Stuff the Bus School Supply Drive
United Way of Southwest Minnesota (UWSWMN) is collecting new school supplies to help local children start the school year right. Please help us Stuff the Bus with school supplies. This year, dry-erase markers, glue sticks, pencil boxes, Kleenex boxes and notebooks are most needed. Donations can be placed at the following locations until August 2, 2024.

Our Stuff the Bus initiative provides K-12 students with basic school supplies to help them succeed. Thus, easing the burden for students and parents, alleviating stress, building confidence, and helping students thrive.
The supplies will be distributed to participating schools within the UWSWMN service area. Each school will have its own distribution process to ensure the supplies reach the students who need them. The supplies will be sorted and distributed on August 9th, and those in need should contact their school district starting on August 9th for details. This initiative distributed over 60,000 school supplies in August 2023 to nearly 4,600 K-12 students at 23 local schools.
If you cannot donate supplies but want to contribute financially, you may mail checks to United Way of SWMN, P.O. Box 41, Marshall, MN 56258. Please note "Stuff the Bus" on the memo line. You may also donate online by visiting www.unitedwayswmn.org/STB. Financial donations are accepted year-round for this initiative, allowing us to purchase school supplies in bulk at a low cost.
