United Way of Southwest Minnesota: COVID-19 Updates

Let’s Help Our Home. This phrase has new meaning to us now as we continue to face the uncertainty of COVID-19. The health and safety of our employees, community partners, and the general public is our utmost priority. Our office will remain closed but our email will be answered during regular business hours, Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Key Updates:

•Community Impact Grant deadline has been moved to Thursday, April 30th at 5:00 p.m.

•Power of the Purse event has been postponed. Watch our website and social media channels for the new date.

•Gift Card Drive now through April 20th. UWSWMN will be collecting gift cards in place of our hygiene drive to distribute to local human service providers. Gift cards can be purchased in any amount at local businesses throughout our service area—grocery stores, hardware stores, dollar stores, gas stations and restaurants.

This is a great way to help friends and neighbors, as well as business owners, as we all face the uncertainty ahead. Gift cards can be mailed to: UWSWMN, PO Box 41, Marshall, MN 56258.
