UWSWMN RADIO-A-THON Raises Funds and Awareness
United Way of Southwest Minnesota (UWSWMN) recently held its inaugural RADIO-A-THON event, hosted by Marshall Radio, successfully raised $4,325 to support their community initiatives. The event aimed to share some history, raise awareness and funds for local causes, bring together listeners, guests, and sponsors in a collective effort to make a difference.
"We are incredibly grateful to everyone who tuned in, our wonderful guests who shared their stories, and our generous sponsors who made this event possible," said Meg Louwagie. CEO of UWSWMN. "The support from Marshall Radio and the community has been overwhelming, and we are thrilled with the outcome."
The inaugural RADIO-A-THON featured a lineup of interviews from current and past Board Members, past Executive Directors, volunteers and community partners, creating an exciting atmosphere for listeners. The funds raised will be directed towards UWSWMN’s Community Impact Grants ensuring that the contributions make a meaningful impact.
