To show their continued support for the United Way of Southwest Minnesota, Schwan’s Company subsidiary employees and Cygnus Home Service, LLC employees in Marshall, Minnesota recently helped raise $133,358.08. This total investment includes employee donations totaling more than $62,000, a Schwan’s Corporate Giving Foundation dollar-for-dollar match and an additional gift from Schwan’s Corporate Giving Foundation. The additional gift from Schwan’s Corporate Giving Foundation helps to offset the operating costs of United Way, thereby allowing more of the employees’ direct gifts and payroll deductions to go to support the needed services throughout the United Way service area.
Donations will go toward benefiting local initiatives, community partner programs and partnerships that support people and resources focused on improving health, education, financial stability, hunger and safety & well-being in southwest Minnesota.
Schwan’s Corporate Giving Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) charitable organization focused on efforts to end hunger, promote youth education and leadership development, and provide essential services that advance the health of the communities where Schwan’s Company employees live and work. The foundation is headquartered in Marshall, Minnesota.
