UCAP is here to help change lives for people with low income.Black father with his daughter having a nice time

For over 60 years, United Community Action Partnership (UCAP) has helped bring together people and resources for our neighbors in need. Our goal is to help people, change lives, and work to eliminate poverty (rather than band-aid solutions) for people in Cottonwood, Jackson, Kandiyohi, Lincoln, Lyon, McLeod, Meeker, Redwood, and Renville counties.

With over 275 employees across our 9 counties, we continue to be a grass-roots private nonprofit that is represented and led by the communities it serves.

We know there are growing needs in our local communities.

We offer programs in the key areas of Community and Family Services, Head Start, Housing, and Transportation. These programs are not possible without the help of our generous donors and volunteers.

Programs:

The Kitchen Table Food Shelf
