Power of Produce of Marshall Area Farmer’s Market was awarded a $1,000 grant through United Way of Southwest Minnesota’s (UWSWMN) community impact grant process. This community partner program aligns with UWSWMN’s health priority area, as this program works to engage children at farmers markets and empower them to make healthful food choices.
UWSWMN initiatives, community partner programs and partnerships will serve 52,600 local people in 2019-20. Community volunteers from throughout our service area review local grant requests and make funding recommendations to our local Board of Directors to be certain donations to UWSWMN make the most impact.
United Way fights for the health, education and financial stability of every person in every community. In southwest Minnesota, we focus on: health, education, financial stability, hunger and safety & well-being.
